AniSong Sydney Complex Vol. 1 - Day of Birth

Welcome to AniSS Complex Volume 1. Day of Birth. This is the official launch of our anime song event here in Sydney.

We're thankful to everyone that attended the Trial event, Volume 0, and the interest and attendance exceeded expectations. We're also thankful for everyone choosing to come back for this official launch, and also, the people coming for the first time.

Let us together create and enjoy anime culture through music! This is also a celebration for some of our DJs who's birthdays are around this time, so it is fitting that this event is called Day of Birth, as it is also the birth of a new event.

AniSS Complex, or AniSong Sydney Complex, is an Anikura (anime club) event that aims to bring the culture of Japanese Anime music nightclubs to Australia. The current Anime club scene is highly sporadic and usually leans closer into the more "normie" side of things, and so we want to bring an otaku focused experience to otaku here in Sydney.

As such, we will be playing Anime Song/anisong, Anime Remixes, Anime-esque Rhythm Game songs, Japanese video game music and etc.

If you've been to an event at say, Club Mogra in Akihabara, it's the kind of music you would experience there. That is the experience we aim to bring to Sydney. 

Cosplay is highly encouraged.

• 18+ Only as there will be alcohol. Knox St. Bar is a licensed venue.

• ID will be checked at the door.

• No Antisocial behaviour will be tolerated

• Do not bring large photography equipment into the building without prior approval

• Do not intentionally take photos of people/other attendees without permission

• Cosplay is not consent unless consent is given by the cosplayer

• As an attendee, your photo may end up in peoples candids of the event unintentionally

• Do not enter the DJ/Performance area without permission

• Respect the privacy of staff and performers
