Anime Song Sydney – AniSS Complex Vol. 0

AniSS Complex, or AniSong Sydney Complex, is an Anikura (anime club) event that aims to bring the culture of Japanese anime music nightclubs to Australia.

This first event is the stepping stone as a proof of concept that an event like this something that people want to see, and to use as a springboard into bigger and better events. The current anime club scene is highly sporadic and usually leans closer into the more "normie" side of things, and so we want to bring an otaku focused experience to otaku here in Sydney.

As such, we will be playing anime Song/anisong, anime remixes, Japanese rhythm game songs, Japanese video game music and etc. If you've been to an event at say, Club Mogra in Akihabara, it's the kind of music you would experience there. That is the experience we aim to bring to Sydney. 

Cosplay is highly encouraged!

This event will be held upstairs in the Conference Room of 107 in Redfern. Note: Downstairs is some other event, please do not accidentally go into that area.

18+ Only as there will be alcohol. 107 Redfern St is a licensed venue, BYO alcohol is not permitted

ID will be checked at the door.

• No antisocial behaviour will be tolerated

• Do not bring large photography equipment into the building without prior approval

• Do not intentionally take photos of people/other attendees without permission

• Cosplay is not consent unless consent is given by the cosplayer

• As an attendee, your photo may end up in peoples candids of the event unintentionally
