The Korean Cultural Centre with the Australian National Maritime Museum proudly present An Evening with Dami Im.
Korean-Australian singing sensation and Eurovision grand finalist Dami Im talks about Dreamer, a biography taking us on her journey from a shy little girl in Korea to moving to Australia, starting school with very little English, and becoming a singing superstar.
From her first appearance auditioning for The X Factor in 2013, Dami Im showed the power of her unforgettable voice. As she made her way through the rounds of the competition, we learned more about this Brisbane music student with the impressive musical talent and electric stage presence. Announced as the winner, Dami's fans, the Dami Army, were right behind her, and three years later, Dami topped the judges vote and won silver at Eurovision – taking Australia to its highest-ever placing and gaining fans globally.
After the talk, Dami will perform some of her songs.
