Wednesday, February 8 will be an exciting reunion of two of Australia’s finest Jazz musicians.

Adrian Mears and Andrew Dickeson started playing together as young teenagers and have continued a strong musical relationship since then.

Mears is now living in Germany and, as well as being an extremely in-demand performer, is a highly regarded

composer, bandleader, and educator. For the past 24 years, he has been a professor at Europe’s most prestigious Jazz institutes in Switzerland.

Likewise, Dickeson is one of the leading lights on the Australian jazz scene, is building a strong overseas career, and is very active in music education as well.

For this incredible one-off event, they will be joined by the amazing pianist, bandleader, and educator Kevin Hunt and Australia’s premier bassist and leader of The Catholics and The Necks- the wonderfully creative and virtuosic Lloyd Swanton.

For the Foundry 616 performance, they will be playing a mixture of original music and some great jazz standards.

Don’t miss this special, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear these 4 great musicians at their very best.
