Featuring tango legend and founder of TangoOz, Maggie Ferguson on the bandoneon, the ensemble will explore early and traditional works from the birthplace of tango, Buenos Aires, and the father of Nuevo Tango, Astor Piazzolla.
Not the usual ‘Hollywood rose in the teeth style of tango’ but the gritty ‘knife in the boot’ style.
