The 6th Taiwan Film Festival in Australia, from 20th July to 20th August, is being held across five cities including Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Canberra, and Brisbane.

The program includes all 3 features from director Arvin Chen: Au Revoir Taipei (2010), which won the NETPAC award at the Berlin International Film Festival, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? (2013), selected for Frameline and Mardi Gras Film Fest, and Mama Boy (2022), a magical realist tale that invites audiences to immerse themselves in a bittersweet and ambiguous exploration of human connections.

Tomorrow is a Long Time (2023) is Singaporean director Jow Zhi Wei's feature film debut. Co-produced by Singapore, Taiwan, France, and Portugal, it is a visually striking wonder, reminiscent of the works of Apichatpong Weerasethakul.

A Holy Family (2022) won Best Documentary at Taipei Film Festival. It is a portrait of rekindled family bonding despite differences in religious beliefs, and an unflinching tale of self-discovery through filmmaking.

Day Off (2022) won Best Screenplay at Udine Far East Film Festival. Director Fu brings her childhood memories in a barbershop to life in this beautiful and heartwarming film.
