Plan your night
The lanterns are grouped into 3 precincts – Circular Quay, the city-centre and Haymarket.
If you're travelling into the city by public transport, we suggest starting at Circular Quay where you’ll find the Tiger, Horse, Snake, Pig and Rabbit lanterns.
Then use the light rail or walk towards the city centre to see the Dog, Sheep and Rat lanterns.
From the city centre you can continue on the light rail or walk to Haymarket to discover the Monkey, Dragon, Rooster and Ox.
And after you’ve seen them all, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants in Haymarket.
TripPlanner can help you plan your journey into the city.
