Learn the art of Risograph printing, a fast, affordable way of producing unique high-quality prints!
In this 3 hour workshop, you will be creating your very own risograph printed zine.
Zines are a low tech, low cost way of self-publishing a small edition of images or texts around a theme.
We will look at examples of zines, then at folding and binding options and how to create a template. We will then make a quick test print together on the risograph.
Using collage and analogue mark-making techniques, you will play with overlaying and mixing colours, textures and images to create a zine to take home, printed in two vibrant riso colours.
Each person will leave with 10 copies of their zine, a learn to Riso guide and a sample pack.
** Please note that the class is 3 hours to allow everyone time to print, you may finish earlier depending on the time it takes for you to complete your design. There will be plenty of samples to look at for inspiration during the wait time and the Rizz volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions.
This workshop is part of a special series of subsidised workshops supported by 107 Projects, to provide low cost options for these amazing creative experiences.
