Sunday 16 October 2022 from 10am to 11am
Your body is the most important, most expensive tool you will ever own.
Many of us experience injury, discomfort or are advised against continuing with our craft and sadly we change direction from our original passion.
Being an artist is no mean feat, it’s not an easy choice; and if you must rely upon your body to produce work, it can be a precarious choice.
I want to be able to make for as long as I choose. And, I want the same for you!
When a practitioner observes and reviews their physical approach to making on a regular basis they are more able to sustain their passion for making and their ability to make.
This workshop will equip you with valuable techniques to sustain your passion for your practice.
Participants will spend an hour with certified yogi Diana Parada, engaging deeply within this workshop and will emerge stretched, relaxed and with practical tools for sustaining their passion for making.
With tips n tricks, Diana will discuss how we begin to live each day with a heightened physical awareness and are more able to identify and adjust the habits we have when we create.
Yoga for Makers will be followed by a complimentary morning tea to share insights and celebrate another Sydney Craft Week.
