Saturday 26 November 2022 from 10:30am to 3:30pm
The concept of Yin and Yang invites us to reflect on how we can work with opposite energies to bring balance and harmony to our lives.
In this 1 day yoga immersion we will explore the qualities of Yang in the morning through a workshop style Yoga class moving towards forearm balance and headstand. With options for beginners through to more experienced practitioners this part of our day is designed to energise, empower and challenge.
Balancing the efforts of our morning practice we'll spend time with calming breathwork and a facilitated personal reflection process, before stopping to refuel with a delicious plant based lunch.
In the afternoon we shift gears, inviting in a slower, more introspective energy through a Yin Yoga practice focusing on Kidney Meridian. In Traditional Chinese Medicine the Kidneys are viewed as the foundation of all Yin Yang balance in the body. Pranayama and guided meditation will be used to support this restorative practice and integrate the earlier work of our day.
Leave feeling grounded, nourished, and more connected to both your power and your peace (and with a Goody Bag!)

Your Teacher:
Ella has been practicing Yoga for over 20 years and has experience teaching Vinyasa, Yin, Power Flow, Mellow Flow and Beginner's Yoga, along with Pranayama and Meditation. Her yoga classes encourage mindful movement and breath to release tension, develop strength, flexibility and awareness.
