Women-led businesses

What does it take to navigate a pathway to success?

Produced by the City of Sydney

Some of the most exciting business success stories in Sydney are run by women in traditionally male-dominated industries. What does it take to navigate a pathway to success?

At this City Thought Leaders seminar, we’ll hear insights from female business owners at the top of their chosen fields in architecture, industrial design and business.

Andrea Myles, CEO of China Australia Millennial Project, has been voted one of Australia’s most influential women. She’s turned her love for and knowledge of China into a pioneering platform connecting talent with innovation and cross-cultural leadership.

Sarah Gibson, co-founder of Design By Them, a Chippendale-based furniture and object design studio, trained as an industrial designer and has a passion for sustainability and collaboration.

Amelia Holliday and Isabelle Toland, co-directors of the award-winning Aileen Sage Architects, were the creative directors of Australia’s pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architectural Biennale. From the inner city to the remote outback, their projects integrate cultural narratives with community and place.

This is a free seminar, but bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
