Inspired by the winter night markets of Europe, the East Village Sydney rooftop terrace has been transformed into a pink winter garden. The destination is complete with thousands of fairy lights, pink lighting and baby’s breath installations throughout making it a destination for cool winter nights.
A winter garden food and drinks menu has also been launched, taking inspiration from Germany, Switzerland and France. Highlights include Berlin’s famous currywurst – bratwurst sausage, curried ketchup gravy, sauerkraut & fries, a flaky coq au vin pie served with hearty mash as well as a rosemary smoked camembert. The main highlight is the cheese fondue flavoured with 4 cheeses spiked with Luxardo Maraschino liquor and served with pickled, raw and cooked vegetables, cured meats and bread which will rotate each week.
Winter-warming drinks include a mulled Young Henrys cider, spiced mulled wine, specialty European-style warm meads sourced from the Barossa valley and a delectable gin toddy with Hobart Beverage Co’s Tasmanian Tonic Syrup.
All drinks will be part of a special winter garden Happy Hour(s) featuring 2 for 1 between 5pm – 7pm every evening with some selected beers and house wines.
