Friday 27 May from 12am to 4am
In this fun 2-hour workshop, you will be introduced to the world of polymer clay jewellery.
We will learn a number of simple techniques to create beautiful on-trend, polymer clay earrings.
We will explore different shapes, working with colour, and surface design techniques using a variety of mediums, such as a metallic leaf, powders and everyone’s favourite, glitter! We will also play around with texture, and the use of texture sheets, stencils and silkscreens to create fun surface designs.
Suitable for beginners as well as those who have used polymer clay before this workshop will give you a great foundation for you to go on and create more fun polymer clay jewellery at home.
Sydney based jeweller Nadine Sharpe, of labels Own Sweet Time & The Sharpe One, currently works with a range of creative spaces throughout NSW to deliver bespoke jewellery workshops.
With a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, Nadine has lots of training experience gained during her former career in corporate training. This experience has given her strong training, coaching and mentoring skills, which she now happily applies in the creative context.
Nadine’s workshops are technique focused, packed with information, but still relaxed and enjoyable. She is beside you, working with you as you learn, not teaching from a distance and letting you struggle through. You will come out of Nadine’s workshops with a solid foundation, supported by comprehensive notes on everything that is covered.
And, you’ll have fun!
