Wine & Design: Ceramics & soy wax candle making
Friday 24 June from 6pm to 8pm
Over a glass of wine, build your own ceramic candle vessel, then create your own beautifully scented soy wax candles.
In this two-part class you will learn how to handbuild your own ceramic candle vessels, and then learn how to create some beautifully scented soy wax candles.
In the first week, students will learn how to create and decorate unique sculptural ceramic vessels. The following week, students will learn how to melt wax, place wicks and add scents to create their very own professional level Soy wax candles.
Students will go home with two completed ceramic soy wax candles they have made themselves, plus some soy wax melts to use in a wax melt burner.
About your teachers
Zoey Nigbur is a developing Arts Psychotherapist who works as an artist and mindfulness practitioner. Her studies involve learning various therapeutic techniques, different art modalities, and other mindfulness practices. Zoey has moved from Maui, Hawaii to Sydney to study Arts Psychotherapy and has spent a number of years as an independent visionary artist.
Nadine Sharpe from Own Sweet Time is a Sydney based Jeweller and crafter. She has a love of teaching and setting her students up to be able to apply their knowledge independently at home. She can turn her hand to almost any craft...except knitting!!!
