Wildlife photography for teenagers

Learn the tricks of the trade from the best in the biz!

Want to be a wildlife photographer or simply snap some great pics on your next family bushwalk? Learn the tricks of the trade with experts from Digital Camera Warehouse and capture nature’s best angle.

Using your point-and-shoot device, this introductory workshop allows participants to experiment taking pics of live animals and taxidermy specimens from peacocks to possums. Participants will also enjoy a tour of our fantastic Australian Geographic Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2018 exhibition, and marvel at the junior winners and finalists!

What to bring: Digital camera, phone or tablet. The Australian Museum will have a few spare devices if children are unable to bring their own point and shoot device.

Parents do not stay for workshop and must sign children in and out before departing. Parents wishing to stay and view the museum must purchase general admission on arrival.
