If you’re planning on travelling into the unknown, you’d better make sure you know how to fix your bike!
Ollie and Chris will be leading this workshop on how to fix your bike when you’re nowhere near a bike shop.
Aimed at riders heading out on touring or bike-packing trips that might take them into the wilderness both in Australia or overseas.
Areas covered will include:
- dealing with tubeless tires on the road
- dealing with broken racks/ broken frame using an emergence fiber fix spoke
- sewing or patching tires with sidewall or bead failures
- broken chain issues
- emergency brake bleeds
- and other fun topics.
This is a roughly intermediate level course.
Participants should be familiar with common bike vocabulary and maintenance.
The workshop assumes participants are familiar with basic bike maintenance and repair tasks like fixing a flat or removing wheels, chain cleaning etc.
