Wheel throwing fundamentals with Sammantha Cree

Join us in this one-day weekend workshop covering all the basics of wheel throwing.

You will learn the art of wedging, centering, lifting and shaping on the wheel – as well as the use of the necessary tools involved.

Different throwing techniques will be discussed and demonstrated, and some of the many possibilities of the potter's wheel will be explored – with a special emphasis on functional ware.

Please note this class focuses on technique – students will not be firing works from the workshop.
