About the film
Join us to share in this heartfelt documentary, where we follow Rosemary Kariuki, a Multicultural Community Liason officer in Western Sydney, as she reaches out to isolated migrant and refugee women over the course of a year.
We will hear their stories and witness their profound courage and endurance, as we see them find their voices and confidence in this country - their new home.
Hosted by RACS Centre Director and Principal Solicitor, Sarah Dale - join us on Thursday 13 August to hear about the inspiration behind the film, the issues facing refugee women in Australia, RACS' life-saving Women at Risk program and Rosemary’s secret weapon – laughter!
