Wednesday 19 April from 9am to 1pm
Use unconventional materials to create unique artwork and learn basic printmaking techniques including monoprint, Chine-collé and dry point using a salvaged vinyl record as your printmaking surface.
As well as literally printing music onto paper, you can personalize your print by engraving your own designs, creating your own record label and printing in a range of bright colours. Students will use our printing press to create their own unique prints onto archival printmaking paper.
You’ll take home everything you make, including your salvaged vinyl record and prints.
All materials provided. No prior experience is necessary to enjoy this short workshop.
For young people aged 12 to 17 years.
