The Sydney Opera House presents new work responding to the ever-evolving landscape as part of the latest season of UnWrapped.
Out-of-the-box and stimulating, UnWrapped includes the Sydney premiere of Patricia Cornelius’ gritty and far-reaching theatrical piece RUNT; Emmy Award-winning filmmaker and artist Lynette Wallworth tells her gripping and personal tale of cultish extremism, as she speaks to her visual masterpiece HOW TO LIVE (After You Die); Sunny Kim’s poetic response to motherhood, MotherTongue, MotherLand; and re:group performance collective’s nostalgic work Coil.
Launched in 2018 and curated by Sydney Opera House Director of Programming Fiona Winning, UnWrapped provides a platform for independent Australian artists and small-to-medium companies to showcase new, risk taking work spanning across dance, music, live art and theatre.
The health, safety and wellbeing of everyone is our top priority at the Sydney Opera House. We have adopted a COVID-19 Vaccination Policy to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, resulting serious health consequences and to keep us all safe.
The Opera House requires all workers onsite, and visitors aged 16 years and over entering the Opera House building (including to attend a tour, performance, event, meeting, box office, retail store, bar or restaurant operated wholly or partially inside the building) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless medically exempt).
