UNSW Founders New Wave is on a mission to close the gender gap in entrepreneurship by equipping aspiring women founders with the tools, funding, and networks they need to thrive.
We’re proud to have supported over 870 women through the New Wave program since 2017, which has contributed to startups in our community being female founded more than double the amount than the industry average.
But this movement isn’t just about representation - it’s about driving innovation, broadening perspectives, and building a more inclusive, balanced, and dynamic startup ecosystem.

What to Expect
Pre-event networking, nibbles and drinks, 10 inspiring pitches followed by Q & A from the judging panel, an insightful fireside chat with entrepreneur and investor, Kylie Frazer, Award announcements, and further connection over canapés to conclude the evening.
