There are many reasons why people have flocked to learn the ukulele. It’s super affordable to start with, compact and easy to travel with, makes for a great campfire singalong session, and with just 4 strings you can start strumming chords with just one finger.

But where to after that?

We’ve put together a pretty awesome short course for adults wanting to learn more than just 4-chord songs. Together with like minded adults, you’ll be taught fundamental techniques, strumming patterns, technical workouts to strengthen your fingers, chord and song structures and relevant ukulele music theory.

This is a ‘LIVE’ Ukulele class run by a teacher you can actually talk to and gain valuable feedback from, but the most exciting thing is the ‘LIVE JAM SESSIONS’ you’ll be experiencing.

Our online group classes run once a week for an hour over six weeks. You’ll have classmates to meet and become acquainted with, have the opportunity your teacher questions, play for each other (if you’re brave enough), develop a practice habit and routine, have some laughs along the way and feel supported in your progress.

Who should join?

  • Adults interested in picking up an instrument

  • Complete beginners who have never touched the ukulele

  • Ukulele enthusiasts who have tried to teach themselves through books, online tutorials or YouTube clips – problem is no one tells you if you’re wrong

  • You’ve been shown by friends how to play a chord, riff or part of a song – but with no real technique

  • You’ve come into possession of a ukulele and contemplating whether to start playing

  • Retirees who are looking for a new hobby or skill

  • Adults wanting some stress-relief through music

  • Learning ukulele is on your bucket-list

  • Singers who want to accompany themselves with an instrument

  • You went to Hawaii and got inspired or any other reason

If you are unable to make a particular week, not to fret. We’ll record each class for each participant to access anytime they need a refresher or revisit a lesson.
