Trivia fundraiser and dinner for refugees

Welcome Merchant is a social enterprise that provides a free online directory and digital marketing support to refugee and asylum seeker entrepreneurs in Australia, and we need your help in ensuring that we can continue doing this.

We don't receive any funding. Help us empower the refugee community. We're donating a portion of the ticket sales to the good folks at the Asylum Seekers Centre, a charity based in Newtown that provides practical, financial and employment support to people seeking asylum and those on temporary visas.

The ticket includes a delicious Malaysian buffet dinner too, brought to you by Sangee's Kitchen. There will be vegetarian options, but please note we cannot cater to all diets. We will be selling Philter beers & wines on the night. There'll also be a Raffle Draw with amazing prizes up for grabs, such as a home-cooked Italian Feast for 4 from Lulu's Sydney, a Sri Lankan feast for 2 at Colombo Social, art prints, a Persian cookbook, Syrian goodies, a gift hamper and more.

You can book a table for 10 or 6 or 4, or book for 2 people and join other groups.
