Can women really have it all?

It's the high-flying ’80s. Margaret Thatcher’s rise to power as Britain's first female prime minister inspires a new generation of women to take control of their futures and forge new and exciting careers.

Marlene celebrates her appointment as the managing director of Top Girls Employment Agency by throwing a fantastical dinner party attended by women from history, literature and art to share in her success. Returning to the office on Monday, she discovers that not everyone is thrilled by her promotion and as her past begins to unravel, the sacrifices she made to get to the top are revealed.

Caryl Churchill’s Top Girls is a quick-witted, insightful and poignant anthem to feminism.

Directed by Peta Downes, designed, produced and performed by the 2020/2021 Bachelor of Performance Graduating Company, Churchill's masterpiece is as relevant today as it ever was.

This amateur production of Top Girls is presented by arrangement with ORiGiN Theatrical on behalf of Concord Theatricals Ltd. and Samuel French Ltd.

All performances of Top Girls will be performed live and face-to-face in AIM’s Theatre 2, with the exception of the Friday 4th December 12pm performance, which will be a livestream performance only.
