Thursday 5 May 2022 from 7pm to 7:45pm

As an employer in the tech space, you no doubt have several balls in the air at any given time. One ball you cannot afford to drop is your workers’ entitlements. Ensuring their rights are being met (for example, receiving the correct pay) is essential, or you risk legal claims, fines and reputational damage.

Equally, you also need to protect your tech business’ assets and intellectual property by having essential contracts and policies in place.

To help you understand your obligations and rights, LegalVision is hosting a free webinar on Employment Essentials for Tech Businesses. On Thursday 5 May, 11 am AEST, join Joel Hayden (Practice Leader) and Sophie Joselyn (Lawyer) when they explain:

  • the difference between employees, contractors and their entitlements;

  • which employment awards and standards are relevant to your tech business;

  • protecting your intellectual property and confidential information; and

  • deterring employees from joining or starting competing businesses.

Following the webinar, there will be a live Q&A. If you are unable to make it, you can still register and we will send you a copy of the recording.
