The things of love synopsis
The return to the memory of the Spanish copla (and its imaginary materialized in the Spanish folk musical cinema of the 1930s and 1940s) is impossible without this film, delicately starring Ángela Molina and Manuel Bandera in the roles of singers. Along with the evocation of the world of songs, the film portrays its backstage and makes a brilliant bet to allude to the moral and sexual subversion of this environment and its sad end in the Spanish postwar period.

About Angela Molina
Ángela Molina is one of the most outstanding actresses in Spanish cinematography. She started her career in the middle of the Spanish transition and she keeps working nowadays. Her career has been marked by participation in numerous international films, of which her collaboration with Buñuel was the starting gun. On the occasion of such a brilliant career, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will award her the Goya Award of honor at the 2021 edition of these awards: «With this distinction we want to recognize the exceptional career of this colleague so loved by all for her authenticity, his undeniable talent and his special sensitivity.
