Theatre workshop: Writing your story

In connection with Looking For Alibrandi, this workshop is run by Belvoir to empower young people to harness their individual perspective on the world and to write their own story. Inspired by Melina Marchetta’s Looking For Alibrandi coming to Belvoir as a play.
Suitable for students in high school, ages 15 – 18 years old who have an interest in writing.
Learn how to harness your interests and passions to create a piece of writing for performance that only you could write. Embrace your perspective on the world and channel your creativity into theatre writing.
In this workshop you will write a short story or monologue using playwriting techniques.
