The Sydney Water Family Program

Bring the kids to learn more about our most precious commodity: water

Water science – 3-5pm
What is the story of water? Where does our water come from? How does it reach our taps? Sydney Water scientists use an interactive large-scale model to demonstrate how water moves through the system from the catchment to our homes.

Water testing – 4-5pm
Find out what it’s like to be a Sydney Water scientist. Do real hands on experiments in our Water Lab. See how we test that your drinking water is great for keeping you healthy and hydrated.
Suitable for ages 7 years+
Bookings through eventbrite.

This event is one of the many public programs around H2O: Water Bar– a reflective, glassy glistening installation by Janet Laurence that allows you to sample a variety of water sourced from diverse regions of Australia.
Come and join in the conservation conversation!
