Discover a new side of Sydney. The Streets of Barangaroo is unveiling a new neighbourhood of premium, waterfront retail and beauty destinations with a four- week celebration. The event features some of Sydney’s hottest artists, makers and curators.
The Streets of Barangaroo is home to Australia’s first ever David Jones boutique concept store and ten specialty apparel boutiques and beauty havens, traditionally only found in Sydney’s suburbs.
Retailers along Scotch Row will host curated activations, workshops and installations by artists and makers including Adriana Picker, Myra Perez (My Violet), Aisle6ix, All My Relations, Samantha Taylor for Cinquieme Sens, Authority Creative, and Lauren Webster. These will complement the exciting selection of local and international brands within the city’s newest shopping precinct.
Scotch Row Pocket Park, The Streets of Barangaroo’s newest place to relax, will become a hub for live music, alongside a pop-up bar on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Located on the corner of Scotch Row and Shipwright Walk, Pocket Park features casual seating, ping pong tables and a community library curated by Tittle. Enjoy art, fashion and design books to read whilst soaking up the afternoon sunshine.
The first free live performance at Pocket Park will feature singer songwriter Dylan Wright, playing his signature mix of blues and folk music on Thursday 12 October, from 4pm to 8pm.
New to The Streets of Barangaroo is Australia’s largest independent retailer of music, books and film, Title. Along with international hair salon Franck Provost, the retailer will join the existing offering of Scotch Row offerings: Shirt Bar, The Waiting Room, Collector Store, The Standard Store, BELANCÉ, David Jones, Optique, Blown Lux, and California Nails.
