From the first notes of her performance, Mary Rapp sidesteps predictability and eschews the conventional.

This trio display no holds barred improvisation, creating dream-like soundscapes as a platform for Rapp’s visceral and emotive vocals.

Brave and committed to a firm artistic vision, the group present themselves in ways that disquiet rather than reassure the mind.

Rapp’s compositions/improvisations are shape-shifting soundscapes, and you’ll be strangely absorbed by the disconnected-connectedness of the three performers.

“This is Rapp’s debut recording. I find her artistic confidence, creativity, and conviction astonishing.” – The Music Trust
