The FFMA (Filipino Food Movement Australia) is proud to present Chef Vico Betguen and Chef Miguel Angelo Oppus for this Mabuhay Nights Event where they will be showcasing a Modern Karinderya Degustation Menu transforming popular Filipino dishes using modern techniques that will sizzle your taste buds with scrumptious and mouthwatering dishes such as sisig, kare-kare and pork silog but not as you may traditionally know it!
This specially curated degustation by Chef Vico Betguen, Culinary Director for JJ Hospitality and Chef Miguel Angelo Oppus, Junior Sous Chef at The Gantry located at Pier One Sydney Harbour - is a reflection of their Filipino heritage and their experience as Modern Australian Cuisine Chefs in Sydney focusing on the use of seasonal and sustainable produce.
This evening will be dedicated to taking you on an exciting journey of the Philippines without leaving your seat. The dining room will consist of long tables so people can interact and enjoy conversations together.
