Laura, Mim and Michael are best known for their podcast series which has achieved more than a million downloads and in 2018 won an Australian Podcast Award for Best Kids and Families Podcast. The series explores children's audio through storytelling, informative fact based teaching and music. In 2022, The Beanies debuted on ABC Kids TV and iView with their original music videos. The Beanies are a three-piece band with over 70 original songs that have been released through ABC Commercial and streamed over three million times. In 2019 The Beanies were nominated for an ARIA Award in the category of Best Children's Album and an Australian Independent Music Award in 2022. The Beanies have been featured on Sunrise, The Project, TODAY Show and ABC News.
