You will learn how to knit using only your arms, no needles! Learn the intriguing art of the arm knitting process in its entirety.‘Armed’ with luxurious coloured 100% hand dyed thick arm knitting wool you will create a stylish and admirable infinity or long scarf (the choice is yours) using only your arms.

It is a 'loopy' idea but no knitting skills are required and anyone can learn. Receive specific arm knitting techniques through demonstrations and hands-on instructional explanation while connecting with other inspired arm knitting enthusiasts.  

What you'll take home   1 stylish super chunky scarf per person, handmade by you. One skein of yarn is included. 100% wool and blended skeins of specific arm knitting yarn in stunning colours and neutrals will also be available for purchase.

Relevant information Wool colours will vary at each workshop, you’ll have the choice of colours available upon your arrival.

It’s effortless, absolutely everything required is provided including light refreshments.

No knitting experience is required.

Covid-safe information

The safety of our visitors, artists, teachers, staff and volunteers is vital.

We are observing strict physical distancing and hygiene measures to protect the health of visitors and staff and minimise the spread of Covid-19.

These include enhanced cleaning regimes, social distancing and limits on the number of people in the gallery, sanitiser and hand washing facilities and changes to our class sizes.

Don’t visit if you’re unwell or, if in the last 14 days, you have experienced cold or flu symptoms, have returned from overseas or have been to or had contact with someone from a Covid hotspot. Visitors are required to provide their name and contact details on arrival at the Gallery, to support contact tracing in line with NSW Health rules and our Covid-Safe plan.

  • floor markings and signage to help visitors maintain safe distances.

  • There are limits on the number of visitors overall and the Gallery space has its maximum capacity, based on the rule of 1 person per 4 square metres.

  • Please don’t touch the artworks.

We are also available for private viewings of our exhibitions by prior arrangement.
