Children's tennis classes after-school and weekends

Suitable for children aged 3 years and up and all levels of ability. Children progress at their own level according to the 5 development stages of the Tennis Australia Hot Shots program: Blue, Red, Orange, Green and Yellow Ball.

Only 4 children per coach means plenty of attention. Your child(ren) will have fun as they develop skills and make friends. Red, Orange and Green ball stages are made up of 3 levels: Foundation, Intermediate and Matchplay. As your child’s tennis skills improve, they progress to the next level. The final stage of the Hot Shots tennis program (Yellow) gives kids an opportunity to train and compete with other players of their level on a full size tennis court.

What to expect

• 30, 45 and 60-minute lesson duration depending on your child's age

• Taught by a qualified professional tennis coach

• Progress at own pace, moving to next stage when ready

• Use of modified equipment to assist learning

• Learn the technical and tactical fundamentals of tennis

• Improve focus, agility, flexibility, balance and speed

• Cooperative partner activities and challenges
