Join us on Zoom for this unique opportunity to hear the story of Holocaust survivor Lilly Wolf.
Lilly Wolf was born in Hungary. By the time she was 17 years old in 1944, she was an orphan. Her mother died of an illness and her father was murdered in Auschwitz.
Lilly acted as translator in the ghetto where 24 people were to go into one house – only 6 of them survived. Lilly herself was saved by the renowned Raoul Wallenberg.
Russians liberated Hungary in mid-January 1945. Lilly continued to suffer at the hands of the Russian soldiers. She left Hungary in 1947 to start a new life in Australia.
