Tackling climate change

Seasoned campaigners debate climate change advocacy, community engagement and government action.

Trying to make an impact on an issue as overwhelming as climate change can often feel daunting and futile. Be empowered and learn how you can get involved in this galvanising forum featuring two passionate climate warriors. Seasoned campaigner and author Anna Rose and Joseph Zane Sikulu, 350.org’s Pacific Campaigner, share their frontline experiences in climate change advocacy, community engagement and government action.

Bring your questions about effecting climate change on a micro and macro level!

Recommended for adults and youth aged 13 and up.

6pm – Doors open | complimentary drinks & snacks.
6.30pm – Talk starts, followed by Q&A

This event is part of Oceania Rising: Climate Change in Our Region, a program of events and activations in collaboration with the Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre and Blacktown Arts focusing on climate change advocacy.
