Our farmers’ market at Taylor Square is a community, not-for-profit food market where local growers, farmers and artisan producers sell their wares directly to consumers. Stallholders sell what they grow, farm, pickle, preserve, bake, smoke or catch themselves from a defined regional area.
We operate our market because:
- it provides an outdoor community meeting place every week for inner-city dwellers.
- it reduces your environmental footprint by reducing the distance your food travels to get to you.
- you meet and know the people who grow and make your food.
- 100% of your dollars go directly to the farmer that you are buying your produce from.
We’re passionate about fuelling the revolution towards sustainable cooking and other sustainable lifestyle practices.
