Sydney running community end of year soiree

Join our year-long photo competition and capture the moments that made your 2026 running journey memorable—from epic landscapes and race-day highs to sunrise runs, trail adventures, and friendships along the way.

Photos will be exhibited at an end-of-year cocktail party, where attendees can wear their favourite 2026 race medal and vote for the winning images. All running clubs are welcome.

Inspired by the incredible photos shared on Strava that rarely get seen beyond a screen, this event is a chance to celebrate the year through the lens of Sydney's runners while supporting Achilles' mission to make running more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

• Photos must be taken by the person submitting

• Maximum 3 submissions per person

• No AI-generated images accepted

• Winners voted by attendees

• Submission deadline: 30 October

Charity Partner: We're delighted to partner with Achilles. There will be a raffle and prizes on the night and money proceeds from the photos that are sold go directly to Achilles. Achilles helps people with disabilities participate in running and endurance sports through the support of volunteer guides, creating opportunities for connection, achievement, and inclusion within the running community. A portion of proceeds from the event will help support their important work.
