A family event. Come celebrate the launch of Amy's Balancing Act, an inspiring tale about clean energy and the power of diversity.
This unique book packages the complexities and emotions of the transition to zero emissions into an engaging, entertaining book that can be understood by children (being written for years 3-8), their parents, and our politicians.
The event will include:
a book reading by the ABC's Craig Reucassel
a discussion about the technologies and emotions underlying the energy transition by Dr Bjorn Sturmberg
and a panel discussion with leaders from climate and energy.
It will be followed by books sales and signing.

Dr Bjorn Sturmberg - author of the Amy's Balancing Act & energy researcher @ ANU
Craig Reucassel - from The War on Waste, The Checkout, and The Chaser, etc
Natalie Isaacs - founder of 1 Million Women
Nicky Ison - Energy commentator and strategist formerly with UTS and WWF
Nic Seton - CEO of Australian Parents 4 Climate Action
Doors open at 430 for a 5pm start. Formal proceedings will close at 6pm followed by book signings and socialising until 630pm.
