Boasting world-class performance spaces nestled in the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music throws open its doors on May 30 for an all-day jazz festival featuring over 120 musicians.

Trail-blazing artists Linda May Han Oh (NY), Vince Jones & ANJO, Jo Lawry (NY), Fabian Almazan (NY/CUBA), Will Vinson (NY) will perform alongside the crème of the Australian jazz scene.

Covid-safe information

To comply with the NSW Covid-19 guidelines events in Verbrugghen Hall and Music Workshop will be allocated seating only. When purchasing a Festival Gold Pass or Day Pass, you will be prompted to select the events you would like to attend in these venues. This information will be used by Box Office to allocate your seat(s). Bookings will be processed in the order they are received and will be booked into the best seat available at the time of purchase.

All events held in Recital Halls, Music Café and Joseph Post Auditorium will be general admission and access on the day will be limited by venue capacity.

The University is committed to looking after the health and safety of our staff, students and visitors. In order to permit audience members into the building a range of enhanced measures and protocols have been implemented and must be followed.

  • Our concert venues are now at 100% capacity as per NSW Health Guidelines. As restrictions have eased and our concert venues can become very busy, please carefully consider attending our events if you have any misgivings.

  • All patrons must check in using the Service NSW mobile app. Please ensure you have downloaded the Service NSW app before arriving to avoid delays. To download click here. If you do not have a smart device, please see one of our staff for assistance.

  • Within the venue, to comply with social distancing, guests must sit in their allocated seats

  • Whilst in the venue guests must follow all directions given by Front of House staff.

  • Do not attend if you are feeling unwell.

Though no longer mandatory, mask wearing is strongly recommended in our performance venues.
