Switched On: Cedric Burnside

When

Saturday 19 March 2022 from 8pm to 10pm

Cost

Adult: $39 - $49 + BF

The wellspring of Cedric Burnside’s musical legacy runs deep in the Mississippi Hill Country where he was apprenticed (at age 13) to the drumkit of his grandfather R.L. Burnside’s band.

Embodying the music honed by blues masters in Mississippi’s juke joints and house parties, R.L. inspired a new generation, from the Black Keys to the North Mississippi All-Stars; an inheritance that multiple Grammy nominee Cedric proudly carries forward.

Switched On is a new series that flicks the switch on an iconic venue and activates the Hall in a new light, sonically shifting to contemporary music and exciting new sounds. Bring your ear plugs, because it's going to get loud.
