The Summer Reading Club returns to City of Sydney Library for another fun-filled season. Get reading and join club members from more than 1,000 libraries around Australia.
The free annual program for kids 3 to 17 years, inspires imaginations and instils a love of libraries and reading.
Curious creatures, this year’s theme, encourages young readers to discover new worlds through interactive activities available in our libraries and online.
From real creatures to the imagined, actual to mythological, microscopic to megafauna, kids will be encouraged to explore and connect with a curiosity of creatures.
Members can get to know 21 new Australian authors and illustrators. Their creative hints and tips and exclusive previews of their up and coming work will be available for members on the website.
The club runs from 1 December 2018 to 31 January 2019. Talk to library staff at any of our City of Sydney Library branches to find out more. You can sign up to the club in a branch or online.
