A one woman Revolution and the audience are her co-conspirators. Step into the gilded/ grit-laden life of Imogen Kelly notorious striptease revolutionary and crowned World Qween of Burlesque.

From Darlinghurst strip clubs and pioneering Darlinghurst’s underground queer spaces to performing for sheiks and movie stars; from Tokyo peep shows to circus caravans; from opening the world’s first all women's strip club to performing at the Sydney Opera House with The Sydney Symphony Orchestra; From surviving breast cancer to finding out they are intersex, to changing the legal status of strippers and sex workers during the Woods Royal Commission to getting cream cake all over the Governor General, Imogen’s stories shimmer with humour, heartbreak, and outrageous adventure.

Audiences don’t just listen – in gameshow style they play a role shaping each performance into a unique, gently inclusive and unrepeatable night. Strip the Life Fantastic is funny, fierce, and full of heart: part cabaret confessional, part glitter-fuelled time machine.
