In this workshop we will be exploring the intersection of sound and storytelling through the creation of evocative soundscapes.
You will gain skills in recording, mixing and editing sounds, as well as narrative building through practical activities based around documentation, composing, arranging, improvising, developing text and world building.
Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to develop your own library of sounds, short sound pieces and the chance to work on a collaborative piece made by all of us as we experiment and play in the space.
No prior musical or sound editing experience necessary! If you have instruments or a device/software you already like to work with you are welcome to bring it along but all equipment will be provided.
Workshops run each Wednesday 5:00pm to 7:00pm - Registration is required and you can join anytime!
