Taronga Zoo and the Science Teachers Assocation have teamed up to present to you a Family Fun Day at the zoo as part of Seven Decades in Seven Days, a week long celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Science Teachers Association for New South Wales in and around National Science Week
It will be an opportunity to bring your family to the zoo and celebrate with us. We will explore the advancements in animal conservation over the past seven decades. Audiences will be treated with a zoo Trail that those deep into the skills of thinking scientifically and will hear from conservation scientists on the latest in protecting species. After we wrap up your welcome to roam the zoo at your leisure.

Dr Phoebe Meagher
Dr Phoebe Meagher works as a Wildlife Conservation Officer at Taronga Conservation Society Australia in Sydney. She manages recovery programs as well as population management for native mammals and aquatic animals... (see more)
