Celebrate the Spring Festival with a Chinese cultural performance presented by young performers at Sydney Randwick Town Hall.
This family-friendly community event features youth choir performances, traditional dance and bilingual poetry recitation, showcasing elements of Chinese culture through music, movement and spoken word. The programme highlights the creativity, confidence and cultural awareness of today’s young people in an international exchange context.
A special feature of the event is the artistic collaboration with countertenor Robert Shlemon Adam, whose participation brings a professional vocal perspective to the programme. Through performance and artistic interaction, Robert supports and inspires the young performers, enriching the cultural dialogue between generations and traditions.
All performers in this programme are participants in the Little Cultural Ambassadors for International Exchange initiative and are students from Zhicheng Primary School, Xicheng District, Beijing, and Sidewen School, Fuzhou. Through this overseas performance, the students celebrate the Spring Festival in a distinctive and meaningful way, while continuing to develop artistic expression, cultural awareness and international understanding. The performing arts serve as a platform for dialogue, exchange and mutual appreciation.
