Spike Heels

When

Wednesdays to Saturdays, 7:30pm to 7:30pm Wednesday 19 May 2021 to Saturday 29 May 2021

Cost

Adult: $25 - $35

Crashing Water Theatre Company presents Spike Heels - a razor-sharp, cheeky and deeply funny play by American writer Theresa Rebeck (Seminar, The Bells) and directed by Award-winning Australian filmmaker Serhat Caradee (Cedar Boys, A Lion Returns), opening at the Sydney Fringe new pop-up venue Fringe HQ Newtown.

Set in 1990s Boston, a modern-day gender/power dynamic comes into play when a spritely young woman finds her identity tussled between a patronising scholar, a misogynistic lawyer and the scholar's jealous fiancée. Frustratingly, Spike Heels is just as relevant as ever.
