It’s that time of year again for An evening with Pappy! Every year we try and add a little more to the line-up, we don’t believe we’ll be topping this in 2022.

This year we’ll be adding an Australian Bar Launch for the Old Rip Van Winkle 13yr Rye. It has been 8 years since this dram has graced our shores. You’ll get your first chance to try this new arrival before it hits very few waterholes across the country.

And of course the classics will be on show and one your tables. It goes a little something like this;

  • Old Rip Van Winkle 10yr

  • Old Rip Van Winkle 12yr

  • Old Rip Van Winkle 13yr Rye

  • Pappy Van Winkle 15yr

  • Pappy Van Winkle 20yr

  • Pappy Van Winkle 23yr

2021 has been a difficult time for whiskey, especially rare bottles like what we have on offer for the night. To have the full line up of all 6 of these unicorns in one night really is something special and very possible that it hasn’t been done anywhere in the world. It was not easy to put together for all involved.

At Websters we believe in sharing whiskey, there is no point having a great bottle of whiskey on your shelf if you can’t share it with friends. This year because of COVID we’ve had to change our numbers many times, and for this event we have cut down even more in house seats to share the evening with Pappy with you at home.

It was discussed and found that it wasn’t fair to hold only one event with Pappy in one city – trust us when we say the team at Southtrade want nothing more than to start bringing the goods to your door again – BUT with travel restrictions and such limited stock we have all done the very best we can to share as MUCH of this special range with you.

And who better to help us bring it to your door than the best in the game? We have once again teamed up with Whiskey Hunt Australia to help us bring you the goods.

To add a little more fun to the line up we have Akasha, local brewing legends, supply some suds to soak down your grub and cleanse that palate for your next bourbon. They have added a great bit of fun for us this time around by brewing a beer exclusively for us and for the night, Boss’ Blurry Bourbon Beer, is a beer made by infusing Buffalo Trace into a Double IPA. Yes it can be done, and yes these legends can do it.

Food as always will be provided, our mates in the kitchen cooking up a storm for you every event.

As always our event tickets are none refundable and allocation is limited.
