Thursday 7 July from 10am to 12pm
Solar plate printmaking is a photosensitive process which uses the rays of the sun to expose objects and images onto a printing plate.
You will choose objects from nature including leaves, flowers and feathers to create your own unique design. Be inspired by the shapes and forms in your immediate environment to create an organic composition and then expose your plate. You will experiment with colour, texture and layering to create beautiful hand printed artworks using a variety of printmaking techniques. A great way for kids to learn a new printmaking technique in our fully equipped print studio under the guidance of a professional printmaker.
For children aged 9 to 12 years.
Intimate class size: maximum 10 students
Level: designed for beginner level students
Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes
