Solar plates have a light sensitive photographic emulsion which allows you to transfer original drawings into fine art prints.

Using your images you will experiment with colour, texture and layering to create beautiful handmade artworks using a variety of printing methods. A great way for students to learn a new printmaking technique in our fully equipped print studio under the guidance of a professional printmaker. 

For young people aged 13 to 17 years.

  • Intimate class size: maximum 8 students.

  • Level: designed for beginner level students 

  • Wear: comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes 

  • Bring: yourself – all materials provided
